In May 2019, Volusia County residents will vote on a ½ cent sales tax that, if approved, would provide revenue for infrastructure projects that would create better roads, improve water quality and seek to improve flooding control.
Volusia County and its 16 municipalities including DeLand have developed a list of projects that could be funded by the revenue from the sales tax, if approved by voters. Those projects can be viewed by clicking here. But we also want input from citizens on what they feel should be the priority in terms of infrastructure projects. This input will be useful for future consideration should the sales tax be approved. Thank you for taking a few moments to let us know what you think the city should prioritize in terms of infrastructure improvements.
